Katrina Barringer's skin care facility was named Best Medical Spa in Cabarrus County in 2010
CONCORD, NC, August 8, 2011 /Cosmetics PR News/ -- Katrina M. Barringer, Founder and President of Skin Essentials Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in skin care.
A licensed medical esthetician, Ms. Barringer is one of 67 non-physician laser technicians to be inducted as a fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. In 1999, she established Skin Essentials Inc., a spa comprised of dedicated professionals who provide skin care and laser treatments in a comfortable and private environment. In 2010, it was named Best Medical Spa in Cabarrus County. Ms. Barringer utilizes state-of-the-art technology to create individualized skin care programs. She guides her clients through every step of treatment, including education on nutrition and aftercare. In the years to come, she hopes to expand her business and open a second location.
Ms. Barringer is a nationally certified continuing education teacher and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theater from East Carolina University. After experiencing skin problems as an actress, she became interested in aesthetics. She has written two papers on the subject that have been formally recognized by the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, one of which was published in the organization's Journal of Laser Medicine. Ms. Barringer teaches laser and light therapy courses throughout the United States.
