With more than 13 years of professional experience, Mrs. Montoya excels in hair color, color correction, reconstructive hair repair and design. She is a Redken Master Specialist, as well as a Cosmetology Arts and Sciences Educator. For her work, both personal and professional, she has been honored the Presidential Award of Academic Excellence and Achievement in 1995, the Dallas/ Fort Worth Chapter of Community Associations Institute Community of the Month Award for her Homeowners Association Team's fund raising efforts for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in September 2005. Other honors include a 2006 Outstanding Manager Award and various others. She attributes her success to her hard work, dedication and love for her industry, her salon guests and to the inspiration she receives from her family, co-workers and leading industry professionals. Her goals for the next five years include becoming a Redken Artist/Educator, a relocation to Alabama, becoming a Redken Certified Colorist and continue to grow professionally and as an individual.
